About

The Dubé Family has been growing potatoes since the late 1800’s. Sid and his wife Thérèse purchased the farm from the family in 1947.  They farmed the land and raised 11 children. In 1972, George (their 2nd son) and his wife, Marcelle, purchased the farm and devoted their lives to achieving the full potential of the family business. After 18 years and countless hours clearing land, the modest 360 acre farm doubled to become a beautiful 1200 acres of land. In 1991, George added our packing facility and storage capacity of 130,000 cwt.  Mike (George & Marcelle's 1st son) became General Manager of the ever-growing family business during this time, expanding & diversifying it by growing potatoes for table stock in addition to processing.  As a result, Dube Farms has become a competitive grower and shipper in the Canadian & US markets. By 1998, Chantal Dubé (George & Marcelle's daughter) joined the business as Comptroller, looking after the farm's growing financial and accounting needs.  In 2018, Andrew Dubé (George & Marcelle's 2nd son) joined the business as Programs Manager, looking after administration and the handling of government & licensing bodies.

Dubé Farms currently employs up to thirty people for the planting, growing, harvest, and packing season. Dubé Farms can be found in the beautiful St. John River Valley at 12 Kelly Road in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada.
